Rising star (and fashion plate) Elle Fanning covers the winter 2012 issue of Bullett magazinewhich arrives on newsstands December 18thphotographed by Pierre Debusschere. Inside the issue, she opens up about working with Angelina Jolie, choosing acting roles at the tender age of 14, and how to be as normal a teenager as possible in her spare time.

Here are some of the best bits from the interview.

On working with Angelina Jolie in Maleficent: "It was just crazy, otherworldly. Angelina Jolie! I remember meeting her for the first time, and she gave me a big hug and said, 'We're going to have so much fun!' And I was just like, Yay! She's touching my body!"

On choosing roles: "You have to think it's fun. That why I like to do it, you know. If you're not having fun playing the character or with the people, what's the point? The role definitely has to be something connected to me, and that reaches out to me. But also I want to make sure everyone's supportive of it, obviously. My family makes sure it's something I really want to do."
On life outside Hollywood: "When I'm doing movies, it's only a couple months of the year. We took five weeks to film Ginger & Rosa,! and then I had a whole year to just be at home, back in the routine again, going to school, ballet after schoola whole normal thing. You can't just be talking about your movie all the time."
