Angelina Jolie spectacular in Versace

Angelina Jolie wears Versace clothing "spectacularly well", says the label's chief designer.

The Hollywood actress stunned at the Golden Globes earlier this year wearing an elegant cream and red floor-sweeping dress by the Italian fashion house.

Donatella Versace says the brunette beauty is the perfect person to wear the brand's show-stopping pieces.

"Angelina Jolie wears Versace spectacularly well, as she did at the Golden Globes this year," Donatella told the UK version of Glamour magazine.

Donatella also praised another high-profile star's wardrobe choices. The 57-year-old fashionista approves of how American First Lady Michelle Obama carries off her signature look with such ease.

I love Michelle Obamas style, her intelligence and the way she promotes good causes," she gushed about the star.

"She has a great sense of humour I watched her having a push-up competition with Ellen DeGeneres earlier this year, to promote her Lets Move campaign. I love the fact that she is still happy to be seen as an ordinary person.
