Angelina Jolie and Sylvester Stallone 'almost exactly the same'

Modern-day icons with kick-ass fight moves and stunning model good looks, its a wonder Angelina Jolie isnt compared to Sylvester Stallone more often.

Ok, well, maybe not a huge surprise, but director of The Expendables 2 Simon West, who has worked with both of the mega stars says they are almost exactly the same and we dont even think he was joking.

Simon who was at the Leicester Square premiere of the action film last night also directed Angelina in 2001s Tomb Raider where she played Lara Croft.

Asked about the similarities between Angelina and Rocky legend Sly, Simon told us: Theyre almost exactly the same its uncanny.

She was so driven and so hard on herself and brave and would do all the stunts herself and very skilful. She could hold her own with any of these guys.

Sly joined his co-stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Jason Statham on the red carpet last night for the action films UK premiere.

Also present was Made in Chelseas Cheska Hull and TOWIEs Mick Norcross.

Fastest man in the world Usain Bolt also made an appearance but was running late, so had to run down the red carpet at the last minute no joke to have a quick picture with his fav actor Jason, who also invited him to join the after party sponsored by Croc Vodka.

Maybe he doesnt have a lot of time for movies with all the training

Expendables 1 is available now on Netflix and Expendables 2 will be available on Netflix in the UK and Ireland in mid-2013, before its availability on TV.
