Is Angelina Jolie becoming dangerously thin?

Here we go again with a new round of Angelina Jolie rumors! A source tells a European magazine that the Oscar winner is dangerously thin and subsisting on very few calories. Angelina has been known to start her day with little more than a spoonful of coconut oil and a handful of cereal, the insider confides to Grazia magazine. The worrying thing is that she is so busy, she often forgets to eat. Sometimes shell skip lunch altogether or will just grab a few almonds and some gummy bears while shes on the go, or will have a protein-based shake rather than anything more substantial. Then dinner could be something like a lean steak and a glass of red wine. What with her career, Brad and their six kids, Angelina has a lot on. Yes, stress plays a part. She is the type of person who drops weight when shes stressed out, the source said. She simply loses her appetite and can survive on almost nothing. But a lot of people are worried that she is taking things too far and that she wont have the str...

Angelina Jolie wanted to be a funeral director after her grandfather died

In an interview with '60 Minutes', she explained: "It sounds like this very strange, eccentric, dark thing to do but in fact I lost my grandfather and was very upset with his funeral. How somebody passes and how family deals with this passing and what death is should be addressed in a different way. If this whole acting thing didn't work out that was going to be my path." Angelina has previously alluded to her unusual career choice, revealing she completed a home study course in the subject as a teenager. She said: "When I was younger, I went to a funeral, and I didn't think it was enough of a celebration of the life of the person. I thought I could do better. I wanted to study, so I got a home course when I was about 14. I did a mail-order degree."

Angelina Jolie's backup plan? Funeral director

Image
Small Text Medium Text Large Text Mario Anzuoni/Reuters (CNN) - If the acting thing ever falls to the wayside, maybe Angelina Jolie will reconsider a former goal: Becoming a funeral director. The 36-year-old told "60 Minutes" on Sunday that she had a plan in place if she couldn't find her way in Hollywood. "It sounds like this very strange, eccentric, dark thing to do but in fact I lost my grandfather and was very upset with the funeral," she said in the interview. "This whole idea of how somebody passes and how family deals with this passing and what death is should be addressed in a different way. If this whole acting thing didn't work out, that was going to be my path." But Jolie did find herself on a darker path, personally. Before she became known as Hollywood's globe-trotting, humanitarian mom of six, it was her wild side that drew attention. The star says that's now all in the past...unless her partner Brad Pitt's around. "...

Jolie praised Bertrand during a 60 Minutes interview on Sunday, saying that her mother always put the children's needs ahead of her own ambitions. "My mother was a full-time mother. She didn't have much of her own career, her own life, her own experiences. Everything was for her children," the In the Land of Blood and Honey director explained. Image
The most revealing thing about Angelina Jolies candid chat with 60 Minutes correspondent Bob Simon wasnt her declaration that Im still a bad girl and that that side of her belongs to Brad [Pitt], or that she chose to be in the action flick Salt because she felt like getting up and punching something after giving birth to twins and wearing a nightgown for about seven months. Angelina Jolie's First Film: 'Lookin' To Get Out' With Dad Jon Voight (VIDEO)

Angelina Jolie can't go anywhere without paparazzi hounding her children, but just this once, how about we take a look at the superstar actress when she herself was a little kid. Before she was kicking tail as Lara Croft, winning Oscars and directing her own films , Angelina Jolie was a six year old girl with a famous daddy. And while she's clearly made it in Hollywood on the strength of her own talent, she did get her first role in the film industry thanks to that great bloodline. Jolie stole the show in a brief appearance in dad Jon Voight's 1982 film, "Lookin' To Get Out," playing -- of all things! -- Voight's daughter, named Tosh. But this super cute little clip comes when she's with her on-screen mom, who was played by Ann Margaret, and we can see her natural charm and the beginnings of her trademark features even at that early age. It took 11 years for her to get another pro film credit (though ...

Ridley Scott would direct, following the long-awaited sequel to "Alien," the Michael Fassbender-starring "Prometheus." Jolie's career has touched down in the Middle East on a number of occa...

Angelina Jolie movie in Bosnian language

Image
Image Credit: Ken Regan Yesterday came the news (via Deadlines Mike Fleming) that Angelina Jolies directorial debut, In the Land of Blood and Honey , will be released in the official language of Bosnia , known by the acronym BHS. Jolie shot each scene of the film, which takes place in Bosnia, in both BHS and English, but its distributor, FilmDistrict, has decided to go with the subtitled version here in North America. It was always my hope that U.S. audiences would have the opportunity to experience this version, Jolie said in a statement. Blood and Honey , which will be released Dec. 23, hasnt gained much traction in the awards race so far (one person associated with FilmDistrict told me that its not really an Academy film), but this decision could help its chances with one high-profile award: the Golden Globe. Unlike with the Oscars, where each country is allowed to submit only one film for consideration, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association can nominate any non-English-language m...

Angelina Jolie Signs with Talent Agency

Angelina Jolie has added a talent agent to her team of representatives. The actress-filmmaker has signed with Ilene Feldman at IFA Talent, who also represents Ryan Gosling, among others. The last time Jolie had acting representation by a talent agency was in 2006, when she was with CAA (a stint that lasted 13 months). In March, she signed with UTA to rep her as a writer and director but not as an actor. She continues to be with her longtime manager Geyer Kosinski at Media Talent Group and attorney Robert Offer of Sloane Offer Weber & Dern. Sources say IFA will help Jolie, arguably the biggest female star in the world, find roles in smaller, independently financed films, not studio tentpoles or franchises. The move comes just over month before the release of Jolie's directorial debut, "In the Land of Blood and Honey," which she also wrote. Jolie has spent the past several years acting in big studio movies such as "The Tourist," "Salt" and "Want...

Angelina Jolie Pulls a Last-Minute Blood and Honey Switcheroo

When Angelina Jolie made her directorial debut on the Bosnian war drama In the Land of Blood and Honey , she shot two versions simultaneously: One in English, and one in the native tongue of her Serbian/Croatian actors. The plan was to release the English-language version in the U.S. in an effort to make the tough-sell movie more accessible, but FilmDistrict announced today that at Jolie's behest, the native-language version will debut in U.S. theaters instead (with subtitles, naturally). The movie is set to come out on December 23, which will give Jolie a few weeks more to devise new ways to confuse and discourage her obsessive Us Weekly audience from attending. We recommend going black-and-white!

The actress-filmmaker has signed with Ilene Feldman at IFA Talent, who also represents Ryan Gosling , among others. Afternoon Mail! Is Brad Pitt Upset Over Angelina Jolie's Blind Vice?

Image
Chris Polk/WireImage.com Dear Ted: Does Brad Pitt 's "adoration" of Jolie have anything to do with his Vice? He doesn't throw her too many adorable looks, if you know what I mean. J Dear Bitch -ay: Darling, you are highly misinformed regarding the beautiful couple who, by the by, some think are secretly married (I say no). Look, Brad adores Angelina, much more than he did Jennifer Aniston ; think closer to how he originally felt about Gywneth Paltrow , another toughie. Brad does not care about Angelina's Vices, period. He cares about their family, end of story. I can also assure you Jolie feels even moreso about Pitt's Vicesit's a nonissue. And I...
