It has been four years since - Brangelina - took their adoptive son, Pax, under their wing - and now have taken him to visit his biological parents in Vietnam.
Both families who must have been overwhelmed as their son was welcomed by Ho Chi Minh City for a visit which ensured young Pax stays in touch with his roots.
The family were seen in Ho Chi Minh City today having lunch in a rustic restaurant known for its traditional Vietnamese food.
The A-list pair - who have three biological children and three adopted - have always been adamant they want their children to remain in touch with their home countries.
Maddox, seven, was adopted from an orphanage in Phnom Penh, Cambodia - and mother, Angelina, set up the charitable Maddox Jolie-Pitt Foundation which supports orphans in the country.
Her adoptive daughter, Zahara, who originates from Ethiopia has stayed in touch with her home country, visiting in 2005.
Angelina said in 2008 that she planned to build an AIDS clinic there.
"We will be building a Tuberculosis/AIDS clinic in Ethiopia. The one we plan for Zahara to take over when she is older."
