The Hollywood super-couple first sizzled onscreen in Mr. & Mrs. Smith, the movie which prompted Brad Pitt to leave his wife Jennifer Aniston.

And now it looks like the most aesthetically-blessed couple on the planet will reunite for the forthcoming Ridley Scott movie, The Counselor.

Heartthrob Brad is currently in talks to take a big role in the thriller, while insiders say that Angelina is likely to have a cameo part.

Shame actor Michael Fassbender has been tapped to star as the male lead in the film, which has been described as 'No Country for Old Men on steroids', and filming is due to start in Europe this June.

The flick follows a respected lawyer who thinks he can dip a toe in the drug business without getting too sucked in.

Pitt has previously said that the couple try to work separately so that there is always one parent around to look after their six-strong brood.

'We're not ones to repeat ourselves, but we'd like to, because right now, we're hopscotching with films so one can be with the kids and one's free to work,' Pitt told the Associated Press last May.

'And why aren't we doing [movies] together? Why aren't we doing everything together?'
